December Favorites

The month of December was one of the busiest months of the whole year. I finished out my fall semester, worked extremely long hours for countless holiday parties, and then flew back home on the 19th. I then celebrated Christmas with the family, celebrated my Mom’s birthday, and spent time visiting with friends from high school. A week after getting home, I’m back on a flight to Sydney, Australia for the next three weeks.

Since this month was so busy, there were definitely a lot of favorites for this month.

Christmas Gathering

If you haven’t checked out my blog post Christmas Gathering, make sure to check it out. I hosted a little get together for my friends and I to catch up, decorate cookies, and enjoy the holidays. It was great getting to see everyone and I love hosting parties, especially when there’s a cheese platter involved!

Christmas Morning

The holidays are such a special time so Christmas obviously has to be a favorite. Being able to be back home to celebrate with the family was great, but it was especially special because I was to celebrate my nephews first Christmas with him which was so much fun!

My New Camera

For Christmas I got the Sony A5000. It’s like a DSLR, but about the size of a point and shoot camera. It takes great pictures and I’m extremely excited to take more pictures for my blog and to have it for traveling as well!

Fur Jacket

I’ve been eyeing this fur jacket from American Eagle since Black Friday. I decided to pick it up while I was out shopping with my friend and I’m so glad I did. It’s like a socially acceptable way to wear a blanket out in public. It’s perfect for whenever you want to cozy up, but it’s especially great for traveling.

Returning to Australia

After leaving Australia back at the end of July, I’ve been so excited for when I get the opportunity to go back. It’s awesome to be able to escape the winter weather here in America, travel around Australia, and most importantly see my Boyfriend again.

There were so many great experiences and favorites for the month of December. I’m extremely excited to bring in the New Year in Sydney and excited to see what the next year brings! Let me know what your favorites were for the month of December in the comments down below!
