New Years Resolutions: 2017

Happy New Year! This year I rang in the New Year in Australia, which was absolutely perfect. 2016 was a pretty good year for me. I studied abroad, traveled, spent time with family and friends, and launched my blog, which I love. I’m extremely excited to see what 2017 has to bring, but I have a feeling it’s going to be another year full of adventure!

I’m normally not the type of person to make New Year resolutions. It’s something that I find people normally don’t stick to. I believe that if you want to change something about your life, then you should start today, not wait until the New Year to make it happen. That being said, I feel like it would be interesting to do goals for the year instead of a New Years resolution and be able to reflect on it at the end of next year, similar to my semester’s goal post and reflection.

Save money

Since I plan on moving to Australia a few months after I graduate, I would like to have a savings account that I feel comfortable with. I’m not expecting miracles or to have tons of money in my savings, but I would like enough that I’m not constantly stressing about money.

Move to Australia

As mentioned above, my plain is to move to Australia for a few years after graduation. Moving to any country, even for a few years isn’t something that’s easy. I’m hoping to get my visa all sorted and have a smooth move over to the other side of the world.

Workout More

As most people, I would like to get healthier in the New Year. I do workout every week, but I would like to make my health more of a priority in the New Year. That includes working out on a consistent schedule throughout the week, drinking a lot of water, and fueling my body with key nutrients by eating healthy.

Improve my Blog

Blogging right now is definitely a hobby, and I really enjoy it. I would like to spend more time on my blog and grow my traffic a little bit, along with making better content and getting more into photography.

Get an Internship

Since I only have one more semester left in college, I really want to take advantage of all aspects that college has to offer and getting an internship is one of them. There are a few different internships I’ve been looking at and hopefully I’ll be able to get one next year before I graduate.

There are a lot of little, smaller goals, I have for the year, but these are my main ones that I want to achieve by the end of the 2017. What are your goals for 2017? Let me know in the comments down below!
